Cooks have made a 1,500m ostrich sandwich at a food festival in Tehran, Iran.

The sandwich was prepared by 1,500 chefs and used 1,000kg of meat. It was assembled to help promote healthy eating across the country.

Ostrich meat contains half the fat of chicken, is high in iron and is low in cholesterol.

It took two days to build and video footage will be sent to Guinness Book Of Records after it is measured.
