A visit from Sir David Attenborough ended a three-year period of sexual inactivity for a group of frogs.
The naturalist's appearance at the ZSL London Zoo prompted eight Mission Golden-eyed Treefrogs to do the deed.
Keepers at Reptile House were left surprised and delighted when the stripy frogs were sparked into action while Sir David was there. They had previously tried a number of initiatives to get the rare amphibians to mate.
According to The Telegraph, the South American frogs have produced between 40 and 50 tadpoles as a result.
The zoo said "one look" from Sir David seemed to get them in the mood. However, keepers admitted a new humidifier placed in the tank coincided with Sir David's visit and could have been the ice-breaker.
