A bowler has collapsed and died immediately after bowling his first perfect game.

Don Doane, from the US state of Michigan, finally managed a 300 score after playing with his team for 45 years.

However, as he was celebrating, the 62-year-old collapsed and died after suffering a heart attack.

300 is the highest possible score in ten-pin bowling, with players required to hit 12 consecutive strikes.
