American drunk driver injures himself

A man in America has run over himself after being chased by police for drink driving.
The 21-year-old was treated for injuries at a Santa Fe hospital before being taken to Sandoval County detention centre.
He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, fleeing a police officer, careless driving and two other outstanding traffic warrants.
The driver managed to injure himself while parking the car after being chased through barbed wire fences and ditches. The vehicle went into reverse when he tried to stop and then rolled over his legs as he fell out of the front door.
Police were alerted to the driver, who was found swerving across lanes on a highway, by a tip from the state's DrunkBuster hotline.
