Two thieves who stole fancy dress outfits have been tracked down via Facebook.
Four girls entered the After Dark store in Lancaster and took a Goldilocks and sailor costume without paying.
Afterwards, a friend of the shop owner attended a house party and took photographs which featured two girls dressed in the stolen goods.
"I was looking at photos of the party on Facebook and, lo and behold, there were the girls wearing our costumes," Ben Muir told the Lakeland Echo.
"We called the police and they couldn't believe it."
The females, aged 17 and 16, were given fixed penalty fines after being caught by Lancashire Police.
