Snake causes printer paper jam

An Australian man has discovered that a paper jam in his printer was caused by a metre-long snake.

Denis Matthews of Lismore, New South Wales, opened up the malfunctioning machine to find a brown tree snake curled up inside.

Matthews attempted to remove the reptile from the printer, but it escaped and is still thought to be in his computer room.

"When I used a long pointer to encourage the snake to move, it reluctantly came out through the front, under the monitor screen and round the back of the computer case," he told GoldCoast.com.au.
