Suleman, who gave birth to octuplets in January, has reportedly filed the papers with the US Patent and Trademark office, The Smoking Gun reports.
The application stated that she wants to register the name for use on products including disposable and fabric nappies, dresses, trousers and shirts.
Her lawyer Jeff Czech confirmed to the New York Daily News that Suleman also wants to film a TV show featuring the lives of her 14 children.
Czech said: "She wants to get off the public dole and be self-sufficient."
