Gordon Brown 'has world's worst smile'

John Prescott has said that Gordon Brown is a capable Prime Minister, despite having "the worst bloody smile in the world".

The former Deputy Prime Minister made the comments in York on the campaign trail for the upcoming European elections.

Prescott said: "I have worked with Gordon Brown for an awfully long time. He must have the worst bloody smile in the world, but the man has got the ability and intellect to get on with the job."

The MP for Hull East, who once punched a man in the face after being with an egg thrown by the protester, urged people to vote in the upcoming poll and "fight [the BNP] democratically".

Gordon Brown was mocked by media commentators for his wide grin during a recent YouTube announcement regarding MP's expenses.
