Peru striker Hernan Rengifo has criticised his country's football federation after he was accidentally left in Colombia.
According to local papers, Rengifo's absence was only noted after the team's chartered plane arrived in the Peruvian capital of Lima, Reuters reports.
Rengifo told El Bocon: "What happened with the team and the journey will remain on the consciences of the directors. They know their responsibilities.
"The directors know what they did, they're responsible for everyone in the team. Many things have happened in Peruvian football that it's not surprising that unusual situations keep happening."
The Peru squad reportedly left their hotel in Medellin earlier than they had previously planned after their 1-0 defeat in Wednesday's World Cup qualifying match, but no-one told Poland-based Rengifo of the change.
