Kyle Shaw, 17, was taken into custody as a suspect in the May bombing of an Upper East Side Starbucks on Tuesday, the New York Post reports.
The youth reportedly bragged to his friend that he was launching his own version of Pitt's anti-consumerist character Tyler Durden's 'Project Mayhem'.
It is understood that Shaw told his acquaintance to "watch the news this weekend, because I'm about to launch 'Project Mayhem'," police commissioner Ray Kelly told the newspaper.

Kelly added that the teen had started up his own "fight club", where men engage in bare-knuckled brawls with very few rules. One underage participant suffered a broken nose during the Central Park clashes.
