Woman 'has earlobe stitched to bottom'

A woman has had her earlobe stitched to her bottom after it was bitten off in a fight with her best friend.

Doctors made a small incision on 27-year-old Julia Schwarz's backside to preserve the lobe while the injuries on the side of her head heal sufficiently enough for it to be reattached, The Sun reports.

Solicitor Reinhard Birkenstock said: "My client has suffered enormous emotional distress. She was afraid to leave the house because of the disfigurement."

The medics in Cologne, Germany are reportedly confident that the earlobe will be successfully joined to the rest of her ear following another operation.
