Andreas Jankov legally altered his moniker to Julius Andreas Gimli Arn MacGyver Chewbacka [Chewbacca] Highlander Elessar-Jankov, according to The Huffington Post.
Julius is a reference to a popular chimp at Kristiansand Zoo, while Arn is a renowned Swedish knight film. Elessar and Gimli come from the Lord Of The Rings trilogy. MacGyver is in relation to the popular 1980s Richard Dean Anderson TV show, with Chewbacca being the beloved Wookie character from the Star Wars films and Highlander stemming from both the movie and television series of the same name.
He said: "I wanted to see how far I could take it with respect to the number of names. I started thinking about this three years ago and it was approved in January this year."
However, upon having his bank card and passport reissued, he was informed that the name was too long. Jankov has since dropped Highlander from his new alias.
