The K3 division launched an attack on a civilian holiday home 750 feet from its intended target in Röjdåfors, the Daily Mail reports.
The owner of the property told a local radio station: "It's a trip to Ikea for me now."
K3's public relations officer Philip Simon said: "I think we've already cleaned up after ourselves. And we have, of course, contacted the owner. There's no hard feeling between us."
The Swedish military website describes the Life Regiment Hussar K3 as consisting of "light, highly mobile units with substantial strike power" and "long experience in the area of intelligence".
