Man guilty of drink driving in chair

Dennis LeRoy Anderson, who lives in Minnesota, customised his La-Z-Boy chair with a lawnmower engine, steering system, stereo and cup holders.
Sky News reports that he attempted to travel in the chair to a local bar but crashed it into a parked car.
Police tested his blood alcohol levels and found that he was three times over the limit.
The Duluth News Tribune said that Anderson was not injured in the accident. He has now been sentenced to two years' probation.
Police confiscated the chair and are planning to sell it at auction.
