Marie Lewis, 27, was found guilty of three charges of harassment at Cardiff Crown Court yesterday, after stalking Fife singer William Westmoreland, who performs under the name Billy West in the covers band Under Pressure.
According to Metro, the court heard how Lewis traced Westmoreland to his home in Fife, phoning his wife and alleging that her husband had been unfaithful. She also sent abusive letters, with one packaged with a tarantula skin and the message, "I hope this scares you".
Lewis is also said to have once attempted to assault the singer during a show, before being restrained by bouncers.
Her lawyer said that Lewis "acknowledges her behaviour was cruel, relentless and vile".
