Owners Joe and Iman El-Ajouz prepared the 90kg burger with an 81kg beef patty which was cooked for 12 hours and had to be flipped by four men, Reuters reports.
The burger also included a giant sesame bun, almost 2kg of lettuce, 120 eggs, 150 slices of cheese, 2.5kg of tomatoes,1.5kg of beetroot and a special sauce.
Iman said: "Just flipping the patty was the main challenge for us, but it all went well.
"My husband had to prepare special metal holders and a metal plate, he had one at the bottom one at the top, locked them together and they flipped the burger with that."
The AUS$1,500 (£845) burger was eaten by employees at the cafe but must remain on the menu for a year to beat the previous 84kg record won in Michigan, US.
