Postman delivers mail completely naked

A postman has been arrested after delivering mail to a Wisconsin law firm while completely naked.

According to a police report, David A. Goodman, 52, claimed that he was trying to cheer up a 21-year-old female employee of the Whitefish Bay company who "seemed to be stressed out" during a previous visit.

The staff member told officers that when she opened the door to Goodman "she was shocked to see that he was naked", the Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel reports.

"The woman turned away from Goodman, held out her hand and said, 'Give me the mail and get out of here'," the police report continued.

"He stated that he took off his clothes, laid them next to the doorway and knocked on the door. After [she] let him in, he could immediately see that he had upset her and immediately felt bad and stupid. He apologised, left the office and got dressed."

Goodman claimed that he had suggested picking up the firm's mail from the post office and delivering it naked and that he interpreted her response as a dare. She however said that she did not hear his suggestion and did not dare him.

The N. Seneca Road, Fox Point resident was cited for lewd and lascivious behaviour, which carries a fine of $681 (£435).
