Artist recreates masterpieces from chocolate

An artist has recreated several masterpieces from art history using chocolate.
Jean Zaun has made versions of Van Gogh's Sunflowers, Munch's The Scream, Da Vinci's Mona Lisa and Monet's Waterlillies, among others, Rex Features reports.
The artist, from Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania, uses white, dark and milk chocolate for the pieces, together with food colouring, glaze and sugar. The works and their frames are entirely edible.
Zaun explained: "The paintings are edible but they are meant to be consumed by the eye, not the stomach. They are works of art in their own right and are to be kept and cherished as a keepsake.
"I've had varied reactions to my work - from disbelief, awe and amazement to excited giddiness and reverence."
