According to Us Weekly, 53-year-old Paul Harrison recently found out that his grandfather was brother to Middleton's great-grandfather.
"It's just surreal, I can't believe it," he said. "To think that I am related to Kate Middleton, the princess to be. I mean, I am just a Zumba teacher from Devon."
Harrison went on to reveal that he has yet to receive an invite to Middleton's forthcoming wedding to Prince William.
"They haven't been in touch [with me] yet," he said.
However, he did reveal that he intends to watch the ceremony and wants to throw a party on April 29.
Prince William recently issued a wedding invite to a former homeless girl who was helped by a charity sponsored by the late Princess Diana. Elton John and his partner will attend the wedding as well.
