Morrissey is known for being a strict vegetarian and animal lover. The Smiths' 1985 album Meat Is Murder put a generation of teenagers off burgers for life, and his love for all things animal led to a rather unfortunate outburst about China last year.
That unpleasantness to one side, we eagerly await Moz's return with a full UK tour, some festival performances and a brand new album. So, we thought we'd give you a fabulous press shot of the man. Those with the most sparkling cats' eyes will know that it's not a brand new image, but it's still our favourite of recent years and well worth republishing.
