Jason Statham, Vinnie Jones to open LA fish and chip shop

Jason Statham and Vinnie Jones are reportedly planning to open a fish and chip shop in Los Angeles.

The British action stars are said to have noticed a significant demand for the classic takeaway amongst their fellow countrymen in Hollywood and are now set to open an eatery in the suburb of Santa Monica, according to The Sun.

Statham and Jones are allegedly planning to name their business "Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Haddocks" - a play on the Guy Ritchie gangster flick Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels in which they both starred.

A friend of Jones claimed: "He may live in Hollywood but he's as British as - well, fish and chips.

"[The pair] spotted a real need for somewhere that does proper fish suppers."

A teaser trailer for Statham's latest movie Killer Elite, which also stars Robert De Niro and Clive Owen, was released earlier this week.
