Emma Veness from Birmingham, England, added that she has since sought medical advice.
Her doctor diagnosed her with pica, an eating disorder that causes abnormal appetite for non-nutritive items, according to Metro.
She said: "I normally spray a bit on my fingers and lick it off, or spray a bit on the duster and suck it.
"I can't explain why I like it. I think it has a lot to do with the texture and how it feels in my mouth."
Veness, 26, went on to admit that she has a favourite brand.
"I've tried all the brands but Asda Smart Price Polish is the one that does it for me," she said. "Others are all too perfumed.
"I wish someone could help me stop. I don't want to be eating it in my 50s."
