The former East 17 star recorded the officers acting on the magistrates' warrant. The video was later uploaded to the YouTube channel of conspiracy theorist David Icke with the title 'Brian Harvey - Police State Walthamstow'.
The singer noted repeatedly throughout the clip that he was not liable for bills sent by Southern Electric bills because they were addressed to a Mr H Harvey.
At the end of the clip, he claims that "communist China springs to mind" and suggests that we are living in a "police state".

Harvey accidentally ran himself over in 2005, suffering severe injuries which left him in a coma.
The singer was a member of East 17 from their formation in 1991 until he was sacked after claiming to have taken 12 Ecstasy tablets in one night, adding that it is "cool to take drugs". He rejoined the band - renamed E-17 - in 1998 before they split again the following year.
Harvey played several times with Terry Coldwell and John Hendy in subsequent years and was part of the failed attempt to relaunch the band with songwriter Tony Mortimer in 2006, which was filmed for a Channel 4 documentary East 17: The Reunion.
East 17 this year reunited without Harvey and with Blair Dreelan, aka Sparx, in his place.
