Bernie Ecclestone's daughter Petra 'buys £52m LA mansion for dogs'

Bernie Ecclestone's daughter Petra has bought a home worth £52 million ($83 million) in Los Angeles so that her dogs can enjoy more space.

The property in question covers 57,000 square feet and has 14 bedrooms. She already owns a six-floor house in London.

Ecclestone, 22, has five dogs and told The Daily Mail: "It's important for them to be able to have space.

"It was a great investment at the end of the day."

Ecclestone's new mansion is located in Holmby Hills and styled similar to a French chateau, but the heiress insists she does more than spend money.

"My full-time job isn't just blowing my parents' money," she continued. "I go to the occasional party if it benefits my business, or it's a charity or a friend's party.

"It's not like I go to parties Monday to Friday. I'm not on the social scene, particularly."
