Czech superhero launches war on dog poo

A superhero dedicated to clearing the Czech Republic of dog poo has unleashed himself onto the world.

The vigilante dons tights, a helmet and a mask to patrol parks in Prague, making examples of dog owners who fail to clear up after their pets.

The unknown individual - known only by his alias SuperVaclav - is said to have been spurred into action after the city was named Europe's dog poo capital.

"I am SuperVaclav, and I have decided to take action against the indifference and hypocrisy in society," he declared on his official website. "I'm tired of just sitting back and watching the injustice around us. It is my mission."

In one video, SuperVaclav can be seen pelting a dog walker with faeces left behind by his animal.

SuperVaclav is then forced to sprint away from the enraged man, prompting an onlooker to quip: "His only super power seems to be running pretty fast because the dog owner... means to kill him."
