First kisses with new people can sometimes be slightly awkward. Well, magnify that by a few thousand and you'll get near this couple from a new reality TV special.

TLC has released a promo for its upcoming episode of Virgin Diaries, which follows various older virgins, including an engaged couple who haven't even kissed before.

The end result is a strange combination of cute eskimo kissing and full-blown making out. Like the Lost Ark, you can't quite keep your eyes off it.

Virgin Diaries airs on TLC on Sunday, December 4 at 9pm ET.
