They say that saving a penalty is the closest most goalkeepers come to that thrill of scoring a goal, and Everton's Tim Howard can probably compare the two now.

Just over an hour into his team's game against Bolton Wanderers last night, Tim hoofed the ball clear from the edge of his own box... I think you can guess what happened next!



Aware that in those windy conditions the same thing might well have happened to him, he seemed almost embarrassed by the goal, and didn't celebrate.

And as Bolton scored twice anyway and took the three points, the goal was pretty academic in the end. But it'll be one they'll definitely be showing again and again for years to come.
