Daughter spots swinging parents online

A 15-year-old German girl was shocked to discover her parents in an online news report about swinging.

The teenager spotted her parents undisguised at a sex club in a video on TV channel RTL's website.

The parents have demanded compensation for the pain caused by the incident, as the production company responsible were supposed to have blurred out their faces, reports Süddeutsche Zeitung.

However, a judge has dismissed the lawsuit, as it would need to include the daughter testifying about her experience, something he said that she didn't deserve to go through.

"I wouldn't want to be in your shoes," he reportedly told the parents. "That's simply embarrassing."

The judge added that the parents were not due any compensation as they had agreed to be filmed for the piece, and the company had made an honest mistake.

However, he ruled that RTL and the production company involved must pay them a small fee for their appearance in the clip, as well as their legal costs of around €3,000.
