Blind runner completes marathon - video

A blind runner has completed a half marathon for a fifth year in a row.

Runner Kerry Kuck was assisted by an Iraq War veteran on his run.

Speaking to 9 News, Kuck said: "You know when I'm running I'm not blind... it's just a lot of fun."

Ex-serviceman David Hagburg paid tribute to Kuck's "inspirational" spirit, saying the marathon was a "life-changing experience".

Taking place in Colorado, the Colfax Marathon is better known as the "ultimate urban tour".

The pair trained three days a week for the last five months prior to the run.
