With that attitude, Colin has decided to take advantage of the holiday weekend and has converted his GetTaxi Cab into a mobile Jubilee street party.
"I love celebrating a good British knees-up, but I can't afford not to work on the busiest weekend of the year," Sinclaire explained.
"I didn't want this to stop me from joining the fun, so I created what I've named 'Britain's smallest mobile street party'. The brass band may have been a bit OTT but the punters seem to love it!
"I was delighted that GetTaxi encouraged my crazy idea and have ended up getting more of their fleet to join in too. I was so depressed about having to work over the weekend, but now I'm throwing my own party!"
Colin 'The Cabbie' Sinclaire has turned his black taxi into Britain's smallest mobile street party over the Jubilee weekend - complete with brass band, bunting and a fold out table full of tasty British treats.
Colin has inspired another 100 GetTaxi drivers to follow suit, and a cab from the Jubilee fleet can be booked exclusively via the free GetTaxi app this weekend.
"Our cabbies work hard all year round, but never more than over a bank holiday weekend," said GetTaxi UK boss Neal Fullman.
"When Colin came to us with the idea of creating a mobile street party in his cab we wanted to do all we could to get behind him and are thrilled to be able to offer our drivers and taxi-goers a fun Jubilee-themed journey on this historic weekend.
"If ever there was an example of a GetTaxi driver going the extra mile for his passengers, our Colin is it!"
