Pensioner foils two armed robbers - video

Two teenagers attempting an armed robbery last week were met with the resistance of a firearm-wielding pensioner.

After the 19-year-olds burst into the Florida internet cafe, 71-year-old Samuel Williams leapt up from behind his computer screen and opened fire.



One of the teenagers was armed with a baseball bat and the other with a gun. The entire incident was caught on CCTV.

The two attempted robbers immediately fled, but fell over each other as Williams gave chase, shooting at them multiple times.

Both men were later arrested by police.

Williams's possession and use of the gun was deemed legal by the authorities, as he had a concealed firearm licence and was acting in self-defence.
