Sir Chris Hoy became Great Britain's most successful Olympian of all time after winning gold in the Men's Keirin yesterday (August 7).
During what is likely to be his final race of the Olympic Games, Hoy's parents Carol and David watched on from the stands.
Carol Hoy could hardly take the tension as Hoy battled to win the gold medal at the Velodrome.
She was filmed squirming and looking away throughout the whole race, but breathed a massive sigh of relief after he passed the finish line in first place.
At the end she can be seen saying "Thank God", before giving David a huge hug.
Several parents have become heroes in their own right during the Games, including South African swimmer Chad Le Clos's father Burt's proud moment with Claire Balding.
