A cannabis farm has been discovered by police on the aptly-named Pot House Lane.

Officers in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire seized around 200 plants and equipment in the upstairs bedroom of a farmhouse, reports The Mirror.

It has been estimated that the cannabis found would have a street value of approximately £80,000.

"This was a very sophisticated setup which had clearly been going on for some time," PC Kat Stokes stated.

Police have thanked the public for bringing the issue to their attention.
