World's shortest man Chandra Bahadur Dangi, 54.6cm, and Jyoti Amge, 62.8cm, met earlier this year with official Guinness World Records adjudicator Marco Frigatti.
It marked the first ever time the shortest man and woman in the world have met. Both wore traditional clothes from their native countries.
"It was an extraordinary moment; they're both such incredible individuals," said Frigatti. "Everyone knew this was a special moment, the atmosphere was magical."
"Since being recognised by Guinness World Records I have been able to visit lots of different countries," said Amge, 18, from Nagpur, India.
"I love travelling. I have visited Japan and parts of Europe and now I can't wait to visit the UK."
Amge will visit the UK on September 13 to mark the launch of the 2013 record book.
Amge, from Dangi, Nepal, added: "I'm very happy that I'm being recognised by Guinness World Records and that my name will be written in a book.
"It's a big thing for my family, my village and my country. I am very happy."
Guinness World Records 2013 Edition will be available worldwide on Thursday, September 13.
