Premier Inn has revealed a number of unusual items which guests left in their room in recent months, including 36 Union Flags, 18 masks of The Queen and 12 of Prince Philip.
Head of communications for Premier Inn Claire Haigh said: "We were really surprised at some of the items that our team members uncovered over the last few months.
"It's been a summer of national events and our lost and found certainly had a British theme! The good news is that our teams have worked hard to return a lot of the items that were left behind."
Other items left behind included an Olympic volunteer's uniform, a wedding cake, nun's habit, false teeth, riding crop and nine rubber ducks.
Also forgotten were a pair of tickets for the London 2012 Olympics athletics session including the 100m men's final.
