Cross-eyed dress-up cat becomes internet sensation - pictures

A cross-eyed cat has become an internet sensation after its owner posted pictures of the feline dressed up on Facebook.

Spangles - named after The Star-Spangled Banner because he was born on July 4 - loves to dress up, according to his owner.



Mary Buchanan has posted pictures on Facebook of the cat dressed up in little hats and posing for the camera.

The biggest buzz, however, has been of a picture of the cat in a pirate costume.

"Spangles loves to take photos!" posted Buchanan. "He will pose for me, and let me know when he's in a glamorous mood."



The owner also mentioned that his cross-eye has been present since birth and he can see perfectly fine.

Spangles has recently managed to rack up a hefty amount of likes, going from 4,000 to nearly 20,000 likes within a couple of days.
