A university graduate from Charleston, South Carolina has drawn attention for his pop covers on violin.
Seth Gilliard, 22, has been posting videos on YouTube, covering the likes of Ellie Goulding and Justin Bieber, but he has started to receive more exposure as a result of a recent appearance on television show Good Morning America.
When asked how he chooses which songs to cover, Gilliard told ABC News: "Strategically. I try to find songs that I like, but actually, what I try to do is find songs before they get really popular.
"I pay attention to the billboard charts. I pay attention to the radio. I'm a music buff, it's what I do. From there, I just try to add my own flavour."
Gilliard also said that he is currently working on his own material and is to release an EP soon.
