Gareth Lloyd, 49, used an unregistered pay-as-you-go phone to contact people saying his genitalia was trapped in everything from jam jars to vacuum cleaners.
The unmarried man, who lives in Bryn y Coed, Holywell, and cares for his elderly mother, racked up the calls in a three-month period, reports the Daily Mail.
Despite efforts to trace him, he was only caught when the number he was using came up on a handset police were analysing.
Lloyd pleaded guilty to three charges under the telecommunications act at Flintshire magistrates' court, but claimed the calls were a prank that got out of hand.
Defence lawyer Phillip Marshall-Thomas said: "He thought that he was having a bit of a joke. It was a joke in poor taste, perhaps a little perverted to say the least. He accepts that. He now realises that his behaviour was totally unacceptable."
