The survey, created by social travel website Gogobot, asked 1,400 people to name which political figure they would like to go on holiday with, and 58.6% of the people voted for the Mayor of London.
Prime Minister David Cameron came in second place (14.5%), followed by Ed Milliband (9.9%) and Nick Clegg (9.1%).
Gogobot also discovered that men were more likely to go on holiday with Boris, as he took 58% of the male vote.
In addition, Americans were asked about the presidential candidates with the elections coming up. Gogobot discovered that people would rather go on holiday with Barack Obama, who received 54.6% of the votes. Republican candidate Mitt Romney received 45.4%.
Travis Katz, CEO of Gogobot, said: "The survey shows just how important it is that your holiday companion has the full package - brains and the personality to match.
"It seems that it's Boris' sense of fun that makes him a popular great candidate for a holiday!"
