Policeman suspended for dipping his head in bucket of urine

A policeman in Mentor, Ohio was suspended for dunking his head into a five-gallon bucket of urine.

Phil Croucher, who has since been cleared to return to work, performed the act while he was off duty to win a $450 (£280) bet.



The moment was recorded and posted on YouTube on October 14.

Police chief Daniel Llewellyn explained that the suspension was ordered while Croucher underwent a medical evaluation.

Although he called Croucher an "exceptional officer", he added that he was "disappointed" with the policeman's actions.
