Hurricane Sandy: Man takes to the water dressed as a shark

An amateur video from the US shows a man ignoring safety warnings to stay indoors during Hurricane Sandy.

Instead, he took to the waters dressed as a shark as the storm hit the East Coast on Monday (October 29).



The prankster was captured on camera, not only swimming in the rough water, but also pretending to be a shark.

The video shows the man with a shark's fin strapped to his back, swimming his way to the shoreline, convincing worried onlookers that he was washed up with the storm.

He finally revealed himself and his disguise as he swam up to the shore.
