Ana Feria Santos, 28, claims the baby is able to produce flames, disappear from his crib - reappearing in unusual places like the washing machine - and even transform into an older child.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: "This is Satanic. I have never in my life seen this.
"The bag would break if it held 20 bananas so how come it didn't break when the baby was in it?"
Despite her concerns she has continued caring for the child, but will only call him "el niño" (in English, "the boy").
Others in the small community of Nueva Estrella, on Colombia's Caribbean coast, have been less accepting of Santos's claims. Some have accused her of inventing the bizarre tales, while others have thrown stones at her home and even demanded an exorcism.
The concerned mother-of-five said: "I asked for help and people just laughed. I have asked my God to help me."
The claims have also lead to some people accusing Santos of child abuse. However, doctors have dismissed these concerns.
