Woman ordered by judge to cook Thanksgiving meal for police

A woman has been ordered by a judge to cook a Thanksgiving dinner for three police officers.

Valerie Rodgers from Tuscarawas Township, Ohio knocked over an officer with her car, according to CantonRep.com.

The police officer was directing traffic during a marathon in Canton when the incident happened.

Rodgers's attorney stated that she panicked as she was confused by the traffic.

The 46-year-old defendant pleaded guilty to various charges relating to the incident, and was also sentenced to one year of probation.
