Women's football player throws ball into opponent's face twice - watch

A women's US college football player has managed to throw a ball into an opponent's face twice in less than ten seconds.

The incident, caught on video, sees the Amherst player preparing for a throw-in.



The first throw hits her opponent in the head, with the ball going out of play again.

The footballer then throws the ball at the same player a second time - the force of which makes her opponent stumble to the ground.

The referee promptly stops play and books the thrower.

Amherst were leading Colby 1-0 after 89 minutes at the time.
