Parents prank children, tell them Halloween candy eaten - watch

A montage of parents telling their children that they ate all of their Halloween candy has gone viral.

Jimmy Kimmel asked mothers and fathers in the US to prank their kids and record their reactions.



Numerous young children responded by crying and throwing tantrums.

A few at the end of the video were more forgiving. One boy told his mother that he doesn't mind and wants her to be happy, while a girl suggested that next Halloween, they split the candy instead.

The YouTube upload has been seen more than 14 million times since it was posted on November 3.
