A long-jumping guinea pig has beaten his previous attempt to make the 2013 edition of Guinness World Records.
He broke the record after seeing his former leap of 11.8in (30cm) beaten, Metro reports.
The record is now 18.9in (48cm) after Truffles's attempt, which has been captured on film and uploaded to YouTube. The video has already achieved almost 20,000 views since it was uploaded at the end of last month.
Truffles's owner Chloe Macari, 14, revealed that he jumps to reach kale, which is his favourite snack.
Chloe's mother Angela said: "It's been quite a battle, there have been over 25 different entries since Truffles set his 30cm record and one even jumped 45cm, so he had his work cut out for him.
"But he got back in training and we eventually managed to get him jumping 48cm on video camera - it's fantastic. Truffles is starting to age now though, he's four years old, so he's in retirement."
