Police in Connecticut say that Keith Hinds dropped off the orders so that he could keep the customers' money for himself.
According to The Huffington Post, cops in West Hartford received a call from a Chinese food delivery driver who claimed his car had been stolen after leaving it to run into a school.
The driver then told his boss so that customers would be notified their orders would be late. Police later discovered that one of the orders was delivered after the theft took place.
Hinds was charged on Friday with larceny, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and assorted other drug charges.
He is currently being held on a $5,000 (£3,150) bond.
