Moment man wins million dollar lotto jackpot caught on CCTV - video

The moment a US man realised he had won the lottery Powerball jackpot of $588m (£368m) has been captured by CCTV.

Cameras in a Maryland gas station show the winner's reaction when he found out he had scooped one of the biggest lotto pay-outs in US history.



However, the man remains unidentified and has yet to collect his winnings.

In the video, a man in a yellow construction outfit walks into the Maryland gas station and can be seen pulling out his lottery ticket and checking the numbers.

Just moments later, he is shaking and asking customers and the cashier to check if the numbers on his ticket match the winning Powerball numbers.

Store employee Kamran Afgan said that the man was shouting "I've won the Powerball" after realising the numbers matched up.

The suspected winner forgot to pay for his petrol in all the excitement.
