The Canadian arm of the pizza chain is giving away 110 bottles of the fragrance to winners of a Facebook competition.
The company asked its fans on the social networking site back in August: "Do you love the smell of a box of Pizza Hut pizza being opened? We thought so. If that smell was a perfume, what would it be called?"
After an overwhelmingly positive response from fans - many of whom claimed they would happily purchase a perfume if it existed - Pizza Hut Canada followed up later with a post confirming the scent.
The diner promised to give 100 bottles away as prizes to the first people to reply to the message.
The prize-winners will be receiving the fragrance, which reportedly smells like "freshly baked dough with a little bit of spice", later this week.
The marketing director of Pizza Hut Canada Beverley D'Cruz has hinted that the perfume may yet hit high street shelves, saying: "For now, we've only produced 110 bottles of Eau de Pizza Hut, but who knows what the future has in store?"
Food related toiletries appear to be in fashion, with last month seeing a sushi-scented perfume as well as a bacon-flavoured shaving cream go on sale.
