Andy Murray finished in third place at last night's BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
But despite losing out to Bradley Wiggins and Jessica Ennis, the tennis star managed to provide one of the highlights of the evening.
Murray was informed of his third place finish via a live video link in Miami, courtesy of the classic several-second time delay.
Former winner Lennox Lewis was on hand to give the US Open winner his award, but instead ensued a few moments of awkward silence.
Shortly afterwards, a smiling Murray decided to just pick up the award himself rather than wait for Lewis to present him with it.
Lewis later made light of the situation, by retweeting several followers who had posted the clip on YouTube.
Speaking about the incident, he tweeted: "Ha! Only @andy_murray had an earpiece so I couldn't hear what was going on...had2look at a screen off to side (sic)".
